lodge, the Hotel has an unrivalled view of the
Twelve Bens mountain range as you look over Ardbear
Bay - the perfect location to get away from it
all.
Proprietors Peadar & Susan Nevin and Fabrice
& Geraldine Galand, along with their friendly
and helpful staff, will make you feel at home
during your stay, and you are guaranteed to enjoy
the fine cuisine (for which the hotel is renowned),
and the relaxed atmosphere.

Accommodation
The 27 bedrooms all have facilities en-suite, 14
of which are on the ground floor. Each room has a
TV, radio, trouser press, hair-dryer and direct
dial telephone.
Lounge & Piano
Bar
At the end of a hard day's leisure, come in to
the hotel bar where plump armchairs outnumber bar
stools and a turf fire glows all year round. You
can enjoy an evening of musical entertainment with
our resident pianist. Spontaneous sing-songs occur
regularly, and you are invited to join in.
Amenities
From the idyllic setting of the Rock Glen you
can explore the many sandy beaches nearby, at
Mannin Bay or Ballyconneely. Or why not take a trip
to nearby Roundstone village, passing by the
historic landing site of Alcock & Brown and,
nearer the village itself, beautiful Dog's Bay.
Activities
If you're a golfing enthusiast you'll be
delighted to hear that the spectacular setting of
the Connemara Golf Club, an 18 hole championship
course, is only a 15-minute drive from the
Hotel.
Connemara is perfect for hillwalking, and for
river, lake and sea-fishing. If you want to go
pony-trekking (Connemara is famous for its ponies),
we can arrange it for you.
We have a full-size snooker table, as well as an
all-weather tennis court and croquet lawn for your
pleasure. We can even arrange clay-pigeon shooting
on request.
