Oranmore Village
The nearby charming and friendly Oranmore Village boasts quite a number of pubs, some renowned for their traditional music sessions, as well as some very high standard restaurants. There are also general stores, petrol stations, a Post-office, and craft shops locally situated, including banks and banklink facilities.
Shanlin House - the residence
From
the first glance at the outside of Shanlin House, the guest
knows from seeing the well-tended gardens, the colourful
window boxes and imposing facade of the house that this is
no ordinary guest accommodation. A feeling of spaciousness
and comfort descends as the guest crosses the threshold.
Shanlin House is a beautifully designed home with some
extaordinary features, such as the eye-catching hard wood
which covers the entire house floor.
The bedrooms are extremely well laid out, each one featuring its own private bath/shower and hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and hairdryer.
There is also the splendidly appointed and tastefully furnished guest lounge, a decadently comfortable place for guests to relax in. Family groups will welcome the baby-sitting service, and of course, there is a private patrons' car park.
The food at Shanlin House is delicious, with home-baked bread and scones, served at a pre-arranged time for the convenience of guests in the wonderfully-decorated dining room.
