Cullin House is idyllically situated between the
majestic lakes of Lough Conn and Lough Cullin in
Northeast County Mayo, where you can enjoy some of
the most stunning views in Ireland. This
four-bedroom property located with commanding views
over Lough Cullin and the surrounding country side,
is a perfect place from which to explore Mayo.
Location
Cullin House is located in Pontoon and is a
one-hour drive from Galway and Sligo. The nearest
town is Foxford - an old, well-established town on
the river Moy, nestled between the Ox and Nephin
mountains. It is home to the famous Foxford Woollen
Mills and has much to entertain its visitors with a
Visitor Centre, outdoor activities, fishing and
walking.

1with bunk beds and a cot to facilitate
infants)

- Kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons
including dish washer, washing machine, dryer,
microwave, fridge/freezer, electric cooker,
iron, ironing board, crockery and cutlery
- Family bathroom - luxurious free-standing
bath and power shower
- All linen and towels are provided
- In the summer, the barbeque can be fired
up
- For entertainment on rainy days Cullin House
has Satellite TV with cinema surround sound, DVD
player and a deck of cards!
Fishing
The River Moy is known for its salmon fishing
and the nearby Loughs Conn and Cullin (in Pontoon)
are famous for brown trout.
Golf
There are many excellent championship Golf
Courses within easy reach of Cullin House.

- The local supermarket and newsagent is
O'Hara's Centra, which is located in the nearest
town, Foxford
- The closest restaurant and bar is Healy's
Hotel. The restaurant provides a range of table
d'hote and a la carte menus and live music in
the bar on the weekends. Pontoon Bridge Hotel is
located nearby on the shores of Loughs Conn and
Cullin. This hotel features the Twin Lakes
Gourmet Restaurant and piano bar with live music
entertainment nightly during the season
- The idyllic location offers many attractions
including scenic routes, historic churches and
settlements, museums and gardens
- Walking - The Foxford Way (86km trail
approved by Bórd Fáilte) is an
excellent way to take in the beautiful scenery
of bog lands, boreens, lakeshores, mountains and
riverbanks
- Mayo also holds numerous annual festivals,
the Ballina Street Festival takes place in July,
Feile Iorras takes place in August and the
Westport Arts Festival takes place in
September
