At Lakeshore Holiday Cottages you can wake up every morning to a magnificent view of Lough Mask with it's varied flora and fauna, over 40 different species of bird as well as wildlife such as wild deer, hares, rabbits, foxes, pine martins, badgers and many others. Even on the wet days (unfortunately we do get a few) you can just sit and watch the clouds as they roll across the beautiful and majestic Partry mountains as the waves on the lake are lapping to shore, all to be seen from the comfort of your sitting room. Activities For the non-angler or the angler's family there is plenty to do at Lakeshore and nearby including street festivals, horse racing, horse riding, mountain biking and cycling trails, hill and nature walks, swimming and watersports. There are beautiful scenic drives, the freedom of unspoilt beaches and the seclusion of the rugged countryside or you can visit the many historical and archaelogical sites that dot the region. At night enjoy the restaurants and traditional Irish pubs, many with live music sessions. Golf The area is known as a golfers paradise - one can enjoy a choice of Ballinrobe, Westport, Claremorris, Cross, Balla, Castlebar championship golf courses. Angling Fishing is king at Lakeshore. David Hall has fished for the Irish Angling Team at home and abroad. The angler can avail of his in-depth knowledge of the rivers and lakes of the surrounding area. This passion for fishing has spilled over into Hall's Angling Centre and David has devised a list of services tailored to the beginner or keen angler. These services include boats, engines & boatmen for hire, private mooring facilities, a fishing school and a library. Also advice on free fishing on Lough Mask, Carra, Corrib, Conn, Cullen & Beltra.
