nestled between the Nephin and Ox Mountains just
outside Pontoon, County Mayo.

scenic and spectacular in Ireland. This purpose
built 4 Star self catering accommodation offers all
modern luxuries together with comfort and style and
is an ideal base for exploring the real West of
Ireland.
Stone house, tastefully designed with extensive
use of wood and set on a rocky outcrop overlooking
Lough Cullin with nature's backdrop of a granite
hill, boulders, heather, silver birch, mountain ash
and offering panoramic views from the house. The
bedrooms have stunning views of the lakes, their
islands and mountains.

Fishing
There are many opportunities to fish in the
Pontoon area of County Mayo, rivers, lake and sea,
salmon and trout, fly-fishing and spinning. The
River Moy Drains Lough Conn - a beautiful lake of
some 12,000 acres with many bays and islands and
noted for its trout. Conn enjoys a good run of
spring salmon and an excellent run of Grilse. Lough
Conn joins Lough Cullin at lovely Pontoon, which is
famous for its salmon pool at Pontoon Bridge.
Tucked away under the shadow of Nephin Mountains
and surrounded by forests and sandy beaches and
bays, Lough Conn extends nine miles from north to
south and varies in width from two to six miles. It
is a fisherman's paradise without doubt.
